Manager Vincent Kompany confirmed that Josh Cullen and Jack Cork are both unlikely to be involved this weekend but could return next week, whilst Aaron Ramsey and Michael Obafemi are both a doubt through minor knocks.
Charlie Taylor will miss the clash through suspension following a fifth yellow card of the season picked up at Brighton last weekend.
If Connor Roberts features on Saturday night, it will be the Wales defender's 300th appearance in club football.
Everton
Defender Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gana Gueye will both be unavailable for the trip to Burnley through suspension.
Toffees boss Sean Dyche confirmed Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman will both miss the game with respective injuries.
Former Claret Michael Keane and full-back Vitalii Mykolenko are likely to return to the squad on Saturday after coming through training this week.
