Clarets winger looks ahead to Saturday's clash with the Cherries

Jaidon Anthony is urging the Clarets to respond and bounce back this weekend, as Burnley host AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor in the Premier League.

The former Cherries winger, who spent five years at the Vitality Stadium, insists that all friendships go out the window at 3pm on Saturday and full focus is on claiming all three points.

Speaking to the media on Thursday ahead of facing his former club, Anthony highlighted the importance of responding to last week's performance at Everton, adding to his goal tally and the role that Turf Moor can play once again on Saturday.

BOUNCING BACK

"We've worked really hard this week, we've had a full week of training and mood around camp is positive going into the weekend.

"We know last time out wasn't good enough, but there has been a lot of time to reflect on that and a lot of time on the training ground to put that right.

"We're ready for this game now, we're back at home and we're excited for it."

TURF MOOR ROAR

"We need it. I think the fans can see, when they get behind us it does make a real difference and gives everyone a lift and that extra boost on the ball.

"We feed off them as players and I know we also have to get the fans going by playing well and I know at times it's been difficult and not acceptable, but together we can get each other going.

"I think in the last home game against Brentford, the place was rocking and everyone could feel it and sense the goals were coming and we were obviously just very unfortunate to not come away with a result from that game."
