Gaffer looks ahead to Cherries test

Head Coach Scott Parker spoke to the media on Thursday afternoon ahead of Burnley's home clash against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.

The Clarets host the Cherries at Turf Moor on Saturday, 10 days on from their last outing at Everton, aiming to bounce back.

Here's what the Burnley boss had to say ahead of the clash in BB10.

OPPOSING VIEW

"Bournemouth have done fantastically well. The manager has done a superb job.

"They're a hugely competitive team with a distinct style of play.

"The recruitment and level of investment they've made - they've got some exceptional talent who can pose any team problems.

"They put huge demands on their opponents physically, so that's something we're going to have to be ready for."

DUO CLOSE TO RETURN

"Marcus (Edwards) has been training this week. (Zian) Flemming as well has been training this week.

"They've trained the back end of the week, so we'll have to see tomorrow if they're fully up to speed to go into a full game.

"We'll make that decision closer to Saturday."

KYLE'S ENGLAND CONTRIBUTION

"I think his contribution to the Premier League still exists. And what he gave to England as well has been nothing short of remarkable.

"The amount of caps he's got, the level of quality that he's played at, the tournaments he's played in, has been a major focal point for us as a nation.
