Martin Dúbravka was more than pleased to play his part on Saturday afternoon in Liverpool, as the Clarets secured a point on the road at Anfield thanks to Marcus Edwards' second-half equaliser.

The Burnley No.1 was on hand to make a number of key saves to keep the visitors in the game and was keen to highlight the teams 'spirit and togetherness' when speaking post-match on Merseyside.

BATTLING POINT

"It's a very good point for us. We put everything into this game, the spirit, the effort, the hard work, you could see it from the first minute until the end.

"We fought and battled at times, but we have a real togetherness. We had to be patient at times, they created some chances, but we had our moments too and took it when we needed it."

PLAYING A KEY ROLE

"It was a busy afternoon for me, but that's my job and what I am here to do. The defenders helped me with some goal-line clearances and I then try help them with the saves and keep us in the game.

"We had to stay focussed and keep at it and we have deserved more results like this over the season, but today it paid off and I'm glad I could play my part."
