Information for supporters travelling to Fratton Park

The Clarets make the journey to the south coast this weekend to face Portsmouth.

Please note that all duplicate ticket requests will need to be emailed from the visiting Club and only government recognised ID will be accepted.

Visiting supporters may be asked to show photo ID on matchday, this is to ensure that any ticket collections or duplicates are for use of the named ticket holder.

By Car

From the West / Midlands

Continue along the M27 eastbound (ignoring the M275 turn off for Portsmouth city centre) on to the A27. At the junction with the A2030 turn right towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

From the M25

Continue along the A3 southbound, which becomes the A3(M) and then joins the A27 westbound. At the junction with the A2030 turn left towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

From the East

Continue along the A27 westbound. At the junction with the A2030 turn left towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

Parking

There is limited parking around the stadium and supporters should be aware that parking restrictions may be in place in streets close to the ground on a matchday.

Parking in the Portsmouth FC car park which is on Anson Road (PO4 8SX) must be booked in advance through their e-ticketing site. Spaces are priced at £12 per car, reduced to £6 for those with a valid blue badge. Those who book a parking space will receive an e-ticket which should be shown to the parking steward on arrival.

There is parking available at Milton Cross School for £6 per car. This is behind the Milton End of the stadium on Milton Road. Approximately, a 15-minute walk. The car park opens two hours before the game. There are limited spaces on a first come basis, so you are advised to arrive early.

By Coach

Visiting supporters will be dropped off on Rodney Road (PO4 8SP) which is a short walk to the away turnstiles.

By Rail

The nearest station is Fratton. Once at Fratton Station you will need to cross the far footbridge over to Platform 1 to exit the station. When outside, another footbridge to the left will take you back over to Goldsmith Avenue.

Please note the footbridge will be undergoing refurbishment work between 02/02 to 28/04.

When you come out of the station, turn left and walk approximately 7 minutes. You will see a KFC outlet to your left. Cross the road and carry on left. Fratton Park will appear on the right.

Accessing the Stadium

Visiting fans will be in the Milton End (East Stand) with turnstiles open from 1:30pm.

Food & Drink

The designated pub for away fans is The Good Companion, 2 Eastern Road, Fratton, PO3 6ES. The stadium is a ten-minute walk from the pub.

Kiosks at the stadium serve a selection of alcohol, food and soft drinks.

Accommodation

Ibis Budget Hotel is a two-minute walk from the stadium entrance on Frogmore Road situated on Fratton Way opposite the Tesco store for any visiting supporters wanting to stay over.

Fanzone

Located behind the Fratton End and Victory Suite, the zone is full of activity on matchdays and is open and accessible to all supporters.

Up to three hours before the match, Portsmouth FC provide a DJ, inflatables, penalty shoot-out, table football and other activities.

Burnley supporters...don’t forget to keep your eyes out for our familiar travelling safety stewards at Portsmouth!

The stewards on Saturday will be Marcus, Mathew and Kamran. You’ll spot them, as always, in their red jackets with Burnley badges.

They’re there to help and support YOU if you need them - or just a regular, friendly face to keep you reassured and answer any questions you may have!

The Club will always take the necessary steps to eliminate such unacceptable behaviour; and the individual concerned will be subject to a sanction from the Club and may face arrest and subsequent prosecution.

Burnley Football Club has a zero-tolerance policy for fans entering the playing area and, as a result, any supporter who does so will be issued with a lifetime ban with immediate effect.

We urge all travelling supporters to ensure they represent our football club in a positive manner.

Seating Area

There are several spaces for wheelchairs available for visiting supporters within the Milton End.

Ambulant Supporters

Away ambulant disabled supporters should contact the Club's DSLO Emma Smith by emailing dslo@pompeyfc.co.uk prior to the match to discuss any specific needs or information they may require.

Accessible Toilets

Fratton Park has accessible toilets located in the Fratton End, North Stand, and the Milton End. There is also a 'changing places' toilet located in the South Stand. All toilets are operated with RADAR keys, which can be obtained from stewards in these areas.

Ear Defenders

Ear defenders are available for use on a matchday. Please contact emmasmith@pompeyfc.co.uk in advance of the fixture or speak to a steward to request a pair.

Hearing Loops

Portsmouth FC have audio descriptive headsets available to supporters offering a free of charge service for home and visiting away fans.

It is free to use, supporters would just need to let Portsmouth FC know their details ahead of the fixture. You will then be informed of how these will be distributed on the day at Fratton Park

Assistance Dogs

If you have an assistance dog, please contact emmasmith@pompeyfc.co.uk to discuss your requirements. There are currently no rest points inside the stadium. However, Portsmouth FC will accommodate individual needs upon request.
