Walking
The Club has enhanced the walking route to the Etihad Stadium, there is a downloadable map of the route including the meeting point. Cycling
There are a number of bike racks around the stadium. The Club accepts no liability and all bikes are left at their own risk.
Buses
There are bus stops adjacent to the stadium. At the end of the match, shuttle buses will be lined up on Ashton New Road next to the South Stand heading to Manchester city centre. Further information is available at tfgm.com or via Twitter @OfficialTfGM Rail
Please note this weekend there are planned rail strikes across the country, affecting 18 train operating companies. The National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner is showing the amended timetables for 16 to 19 March. Please check your entire journey before setting out as some train companies will be more adversely affected than others. Metrolink
The dedicated tram stop, Etihad Campus is adjacent to the stadium, located in City Square.
Metrolink runs from the city centre including. Manchester Piccadilly station to Etihad Campus stop and also connecting to Ashton. The journey time from Piccadilly is less than 10-minutes. On event days, trams run to/from the stadium stop every 12 minutes.
Supporters should use contactless for payments, it's a quick and easy way to pay. Just remember to touch in and touch out! If you're traveling by Metrolink as a family, you can save money with a family travel card which allows travel for one to three children (aged under 16) accompanied by one or two adults.
Please note that both Holt Town and Velopark Metrolink stops, located on either side of the Etihad Campus stop, will not be open for at least an hour after an event at the Stadium so we strongly advise you to use the Etihad Campus stop for your return journey.
Metrolink Park and Ride
Journeys to the stadium are really easy from the many Park & Ride sites on the Metrolink network. Parking is free for Metrolink passengers. For those travelling from the east or north there are two large Park & Ride car parks located at Ashton West and Ashton Moss.
The journey time to the Stadium is less than 25-minutes. Please note the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on Metrolink trams.
Parking
Car parking must be pre-booked in advance. Parking is not available on the day.
Coaches & minibuses for the visiting team can be parked on the Grey Car Park, opposite the away fan turnstiles.

The pre-booking car parking system uses Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to improve the journey for our supporters on matchday at the Etihad Stadium.
A resident parking scheme is in place in the streets around the Etihad Stadium and this is strictly enforced and identified through on-street signage. Please do not park in these areas as you will be fined, and your vehicle may be clamped or removed. Please respect the needs of local residents. There are a number of satellite car parks around the stadium. The Club does not endorse these car parks.
Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle and any items left in vehicles are done so at your own risk. The venue accepts no liability for the theft, damage, or loss to your vehicle or items within it.
Ticketing
Take note of your entrance and ensure you go to the correct entrance to gain entry to the stadium. The away fan entrances for South Stand are L1, L2 and L3.
Pre-arranged ticket collections will be available, collections must be arranged through your club directly, tickets will not be reprinted on the day.
The person entering the stadium must be in the allocated age band. Supporters may be asked for Photo ID. Ticket regrades will not be available. Any persons using a concessionary ticket who is not a concession will be ejected and have their ticket confiscated.
Manchester City operates a strict no re admission policy and there will not be an opportunity to leave and re-enter the stadium.
Away Supporter Information
Pubs in the local vicinity are used by home supporters. Manchester City ask for your co-operation both in and around the local community and that you are respectful of the surrounding residential areas as drinking is not allowed in public areas across Greater Manchester.
City Square is a fantastic free fanzone with a great atmosphere, music, food and drink. The Club invite visiting fans to join to enjoy live music, competitions and guest interviews. City Square opens 3 hours before kick-off.
Turnstiles
Turnstiles open 2 hours before kick-off. Supporters under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Any supporter that attempts to use an inactive ticket will be asked to leave the complex.
Prayer Room
There is a Multi-Faith Prayer Room within the stadium to provide supporters with a quiet space for prayer and reflection. If you would like to use this space on a matchday, please approach a steward who will guide you to the space.
Concourses
Both at City Square and around the stadium there are food kiosks featuring fan favourites such as fish and chips, street food and pizza. Inside the stadium there are designated accessible counters, these are lowered and clearly signed. Designated counters also contain drinking straws, available on request.
Concessions will be open on the concourse until the end of half-time. The Etihad stadium is a cashless venue therefore cash will not be accepted.
Outside the stadium, toilets are located at City Square behind the Blue Moon Café and behind the Summerbee bar. Inside the stadium, toilets are located on the concourses and are clearly sign-posted. Accessible toilets are in the same locations and can entered using a radar key.
There is a range of hot & cold, food & beverages available, with several Halal & Vegan options.
Manchester City recognises that disabled supporters may need assistance to fully enjoy the experience at both the Etihad Stadium and Academy Stadium and offer a variety of reasonable adjustments based on individual needs.
At the Etihad Stadium, there are 21 visiting supporter wheelchair bays. 12 are located on a Super Riser on Level 1 of the South Stand and 9 are located on the Level 2 platform immediately above the visiting supporter section.
The wheelchair bays located on Level 2 do not have direct access to the concourse.
Accessible toilets are accessible either on the Box Level corridor or there are facilities adjacent to Legends. In relation to food and drink, an order pad will be handed to visiting disabled supporters when they arrive. Orders will be taken up to 15 minutes before kick-off (for service before kick-off) and up to five minutes after kick-off (for half-time service).
Food and drink will be delivered to the seat approx. 15 minutes after the order has been placed or at the start of half-time if ordered beforehand. Cash is paid on delivery. In line with the Ground Regulations, there will be no alcohol served in these locations.
Complimentary headsets are provided at the Etihad Stadium upon request to enable blind or partially sighted supporters to listen to the audio match commentary; these can be ordered through the Club’s Access Officer.
An induction loop system is installed at the Etihad Stadium South Stand Ticket Office which is used by visiting supporters.
If, for any reason, any visiting supporter feels they have more specific seating requirements (a certain area, block or row in the away end) they should contact their own Club’s Access Officer who will liaise with Manchester City Football Club. Every effort will be made to accommodate such requests, subject to availability.
A number of accessible car parking spaces are made available to visiting supporters. Manchester City FC will advise the opposing Club’s Access Officer and/or a member of their Ticketing Team with regards to the number of bays available and any qualifying sales criteria. Minibuses and coaches are free of charge.
All supporters will be searched prior to entering the stadium. Searches will be thorough and carried out by Manchester City Security and search dogs may be present at the turnstiles. Fans are prohibited from entering the Etihad Stadium with any pyrotechnics.
Bag Check
Arrive early to allow plenty of time to pass security checks. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted.
Backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks, or other similar items of any size, large or small, will not be allowed into the stadium. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted. If you must bring a bag to the stadium that exceeds the allowable size, bag drop facilities (locations shown below) that you can use to securely store your items will be in place until the match has finished.
The bag drop will be priced at £10 per item. There is a bag drop on the 'Grey' car park, which is within the away fan compound.
Kick It Out
The ‘Kick It Out’ app provides news updates on the campaign’s latest projects, but it's most prominent feature is the ‘Report It!’ function which empowers people at all levels of the game to report incidents of discrimination. Manchester City are proud to support this campaign. Lost Property

There may be a request, in consultation with Greater Manchester Police, for visiting supporters to remain in the stadium for a short time whilst the immediate areas clear. You will be informed of this during the match via PA announcements. Manchester City will ensure that you are able to exit the stadium as soon as possible, so that you may commence your return journey.
Manchester City is committed to being a good neighbour to the residents of East Manchester. Please respect their homes and property by carefully disposing of your rubbish, using the toilets provided on the stadium campus, adhering to the residents parking scheme that is in operation and being mindful of minimising noise and disruption when you leave.
