It's the East Lancashire Derby on Saturday with the Clarets making the trip to Blackburn.

Away tickets for the East Lancashire Derby are sold out, therefore if you do not have a ticket, please do not travel to Ewood Park.

If you haven’t got a ticket for the fixture, the game will be shown live in the Rapidz Fan Zone at Turf Moor. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 18s. Supporters can claim a free pint or non-alcoholic drink for every ticket purchased.

Tickets for the Fan Zone event are available to purchase until 5pm on Friday 3rd January and can be purchased online here.

By Car

From the North

Leave the M6 at Junction 30 and join the M61. At the first exit join the M65 and head East to Blackburn.

Ewood Park is well signposted on the M65. Leave at Junction 4 and take the 4th exit onto Earcroft Way.

Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Blackburn Road/A666 and continue to follow this road.

Ewood Park will be a mile down the A666, located on your right.

From the South

Leave the M6 at Junction 29 and join the M65. Head East to Blackburn.

Ewood Park is well signposted on the M65. Leave at Junction 4 and take the 4th exit onto Earcroft Way.

Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Blackburn Road/A666 and continue to follow this road.

Ewood Park will be a mile down the A666, located on your right.

From the West

From the M6/M62 or M60, join the M61. Leave the M61 for the M65 and head east to Blackburn.

Ewood Park is signposted on the M65. Leave at Junction 4 and take the 4th exit onto Earcroft Way.

Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Blackburn Road/A666 and continue to follow this road.

Ewood Park will be a mile down the A666, located on your right.

From the East

Travelling from Yorkshire, either on the B6234, the A56 Haslingden by-pass or Skipton Road, join the M65 and head west. Leave the M65 at Junction 4 and head towards Blackburn on the A666. Ewood Park is about a mile from the motorway on the right-hand side.

From the M62, leave at Junction 18 for the end of the motorway which becomes the A56. Join the M65 at Junction 8 and head westbound towards Blackburn. Leave the M65 at junction 4, and take the 2nd exit onto Earcroft Way.

Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Blackburn Road/A666 and continue to follow this road.

Ewood Park will be a mile down the A666, located on your right.

By Bus

The buses serving Ewood Park are: No. 1 (Bolton – Darwen – Blackburn) No. 2 (Chorley – Blackburn).

By Train

Blackburn Station is approximately a mile and a half away from Ewood Park. Mill Hill Station is approximately one mile away from the ground.

There are direct trains from Manchester Victoria, Salford Crescent and Preston. To view train times, head to the National Rail website: www.nationalrail.co.uk.

Ewood Park is a 10-minute walk away from Mill Hill Station and a 20 minute walk from Blackburn Station.

Official Club arranged coach travel departing from Turf Moor:

Convoy 1 - departing at 10.20 (coaches 1 - 8)

Convoy 2 - departing at 10.35 (coaches 9 -14)

Supporter Information

Supporters travelling by coach will need to be on site at the North East car park 30 minutes before departure, i.e. 9:50am and 10:05am respectively.

Supporters will receive a wristband when boarding and must continue to wear them for the return journey home (in order to access the coach at Ewood Park for the return journey). Supporters will be asked to produce a valid match ticket and a relevant coach ticket before boarding for the outbound journey and a relevant coach ticket for the inbound journey.

There will be no alcohol permitted on the coaches or within the footprint of the North East car park. There will be no sales of alcohol either whilst waiting for the coaches to depart. Soft drinks, pies and confectionary will be available to purchase on the North stand lower concourse. A search process will be in place at Turf Moor and Ewood Park.

No under 16’s are permitted to travel without a responsible adult. They may also be asked to provide proof of ID.

By Taxi/Drop-Off Points

If you are arriving by car, taxi, or minibus and require a drop-off point, you can use the area located at the end of the Jack Walker Stand near the Bryan Douglas Darwen End Stand, please use the Velvet Street drop-off point.

Drop-off points also serve as pick up points after the match, however, please note that traffic will be heavy at this time and surrounding roads around the stadium are closed 15 minutes after full time.

Away Fan Locations

There is no designated away fans pub, any fans turning up early in Blackburn town centre will be directed to the ground in time for turnstiles opening at 11am.

Entry at turnstiles

Turnstiles at Ewood Park open 90 minutes before kick-off. Please be advised to arrive at least 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays. For supporters’ own safety, randomly selected searches will be conducted of supporters, as well as bag searches.

Minimum Age for Entry

In line with safeguarding standards, Blackburn Rovers has a minimum age requirement for entry. All children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Contactless Payments

Ewood Park is a cashless stadium, and therefore only accept payment via card. Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.

No Smoking

Ewood Park is a non-smoking/vaping venue. A limited smoking facility is provided at half-time.

Toilets

Toilets are available throughout the stadium, and are located in the concourse and hospitality areas including Blues Bar.

Departing The Stadium

Please dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided, use the toilets provided in the stadium and be mindful of minimising noise and disruption. Please note that traffic will be heavy when departing, and surrounding roads around the stadium are closed 15 minutes after full time.

Getting To Ewood Park - Blackburn Rovers FC

We want to make supporters aware there will be a significant police operation taking place across East Lancashire, with specialist officers, including police dogs, the mounted section, investigation teams, and aerial support. There will also be a significant police presence in Blackburn, resources will be placed across East Lancashire, including Burnley, Darwen, Hyndburn, the Ribble Valley, Pendle and Rossendale.

British Transport Police will also have resources on the rail networks supporting the safe travel of rail users and fans travelling to and from the fixture.

We would urge only fans with tickets to turn up to the stadium. Any away supporters located in any of the home end stands can expect to be directed to leave the stadium.

In line with Ground Regulations you can expect to be searched prior to entry and ejected from the ground or premises if the terms and conditions of entry are breached.

Emergency Procedure

In the event of any emergency, there will be an announcement over the Public Address system proceeded by a loud “chime” sound. For supporters who are deaf/hard of hearing, this message will appear on the big screen. Follow the directions of the stewards/police officers. If you are located in the lower tier, remain where you are until a steward assists you and listen or look carefully at the displayed message.

Comply immediately if it affects your location. Stewards, Police Officers and Officials will direct you to safe areas which may be through exit doors/gates to the street or onto the playing area. If you are in the upper tier, make your way to the safe holding/refuge areas which are located on the stairwells at each end of the stand.

Blackburn Rovers is a welcoming venue and an inclusive organisation and does not tolerate discrimination in any form. Please be reminded that Ground Regulations apply to all who enter and particular notice is drawn to:

Ground Regulation 10 which states racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse, chanting and/or harassment is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban for one or more matches.

Ground Regulation 11 which states the following is an offence under the Football (Offences) Act 1991 (as amended) “11.2 – the chanting of anything of an indecent or discriminatory nature.”

Conviction may result in a Banning Order being made. Burnley Football Club wish to take the opportunity to remind all supporters travelling to the match on Saturday and in the future, that the Club is committed to the standards, values and expectations set out by our internal values, the EFL, the Football Association and Kick It Out.

Burnley FC is One Club for All and we pride ourselves on being open, diverse and welcoming to everyone. Discrimination has no place in football, and we have a zero-tolerance approach to any supporter found breaching our Supporter Code of Conduct.

We will not tolerate any form of hate speech, offensive chanting or discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, from any supporters at home, away; while travelling to or from Club matches or events; or on social media or digital platforms. The Club will always take the necessary steps to eliminate such unacceptable behaviour; and the individual concerned will be subject to a sanction from the Club and may face arrest and subsequent prosecution.

Burnley Football Club has a zero-tolerance policy for fans entering the playing area and, as a result, any supporter who does so will be issued with a lifetime ban with immediate effect.

Accessible Seating

The front row at pitch level (row 1) will be available for visiting supporters who are wheelchair/scooter users who are unable to transfer to a stand seat. There are no wheelchairs bays. This is to allow family and friends to sit together, subject to availability.

The front row is step-free and has easy access to seats and accessible toilets. This area is exposed to elements, so please come prepared. There will be stewards in place to offer plastic rainwear if necessary.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets/baby changing facilities are located at either end of each stand on the lower tiers with options for left and right operation. They feature a baby changing table, contrast handrails, pull cord, mirror, waste disposal and hook.

Changing Places

There is a Changing Places facility located at the Blackburn End of the stadium, near to the Fanzone.

Audio Descriptive Commentary

Headsets are available for supporters with sight loss who require match commentary. A deposit is not required to hire this equipment. All headsets must be booked in advance of a game and are subject to availability. They are available for both home and away supporters.
