September saw a busy international break, with 13 Clarets in total called up to represent their countries.
Northern Ireland: Bailey Peacock-Farrell faced Clarets teammate Arijanet Muric when the two sides met in Belfast on Saturday 24th September. Northern Ireland ran out 2-1 winners on the night. Following this the goalkeeper featured again on Tuesday evening, with his side falling to a 3-1 defeat to Greece in Athens.
Wales: Connor Roberts completed 90 minutes for Rob Page's side in Brussels last Thursday against Belgium, as the Dragons fell to a 2-1 defeat. The right-back then played 85 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Poland at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday night, which saw the Welsh side relegated from the top tier of the Nations League.
England U21s: Taylor Harwood-Bellis captained the Young Lions to two victories over the break. A 2-0 win over Italy U21s on Thursday 22nd September and a 3-1 win over Germany U21s at Bramhall Lane on Tuesday 27th. Fellow defender and Clarets teammate Jordan Beyer featured for Germany.

Kosovo: Clarets keeper Arijanet Muric faced Bailey Peacock-Farrell in Northern Ireland's 2-1 win over Kosovo on Saturday 24th. His side then faced Cyprus on Tuesday 27th, with the keeper an unused substitute in the 5-1 win at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium.
Germany U21s: Jordan Beyer was in the starting 11 for the young Germans 1-0 loss to France U21s on Friday 23rd September, Amine Gouiri secured the win in the 52nd minute. Beyer then came face to face with teammate Taylor Harwood-Bellis on Tuesday night, with the Young Lions 3-1 victors.
Netherlands U21s: Ian Maatsen was a second half substitute in the Netherlands' 2-1 victory over Belgium U21s on Friday 23rd September. The full-back then made another second half appearance, coming on in the 54th minute, in a goalless draw against Romania U21s on Tuesday evening.
Ireland: Clarets midfielder Josh Cullen played 90 minutes for Stephen Kenny's side at Hampden Park on Saturday 24th September, as the Boys in Green fell to a 2-1 defeat to Scotland. Cullen did not feature in Ireland's 3-2 win over Armenia on Tuesday evening, due to suspension.
Turkey: Halil Dervişoğlu completed 45 minutes on Thursday 22nd September in Istanbul, as Turkey drew 3-3 with Luxembourg. The forward then came on for the last 30 minutes on Sunday 25th, in the 2-1 loss to Faroe Islands.

DR Congo: Samuel Bastien started in DR Congo's friendly with Burkina Faso on Friday, which saw his side narrowly lose 1-0. The midfielder also featured in a friendly against Sierra Leone on Tuesday evening, with DR Congo running out 3-0 winners at the Stade Père Jégo.
Belgium U21s: Young forward Anass Zaroury featured as a substitute for the Red Devils in their 2-1 defeat to Netherlands U21s on Friday 23rd September. He played again on Monday evening, teeing up Yuri Verschaeren for his second half goal, in the 2-2 draw.
Ireland U21s: Dara Costelloe was not included in Ireland's squad in their 1-1 playoff draw with Israel on Friday night. The Clarets man didn't feature in the reverse fixture on Tuesday evening, which saw Israel progress, with a 3-1 win on penalties.
Northern Ireland U21s: Dane McCullough started in the 3-1 loss to Scotland on Thursday and was not involved in the 1-1 draw against the Scots on Sunday.
Poland U18s: Wiktor Gromek earned himself some silverware during the international break, lifting the Limoges Tournament trophy with Poland U18s, who beat Scotland & Estonia by 1-0 margins before defeating host nation France 3-2.
