Rebecca Sawiuk was 'over the moon' with her sides performances in their 4-2 victory against Nottingham Forest in the FA Women's National League North at the Lancashire FA County Ground.
Millie Ravening's brace, alongside goals from Amaya Coleman-Evans and Brenna McPartlan secured a huge victory in the early stages of the season for the Claret Women.
And Sawiuk couldn't be happier with her side's win, which sees them remain at the top of the league table.
She said: "We're over the moon with that, we put in a really good team performance and I think, on the day, we were better than the opposition in both boxes.
"It was the most complete out of possession performance I've seen from this Burnley side, so I'm really pleased with that aspect.
"We said at half-time that no game is ever won in the first half, so we had to come back out and put in a big second half performance.
"I think Forest were very good today and it was a really enjoyable and entertaining game, but in the big moments I think our character held up and really shone through and our big players made their big moments count."
It was a first Clarets goal for midfielder McPartlan, who has been an ever-present in Sawiuk's team since joining the Club from Sunderland AFC back in August.
And the Claret Women's manager was full of praise for not only the Northern Irish midfielder, but also for her fellow goalscorers, Coleman-Evans and Ravening.
Sawiuk added: "I was really pleased for Brenna [McPartlan], she's been a mainstay now since her arrival and has put in some fantastic performances in that midfield.
"She's had a few opportunities to get on the scoresheet so I'm thrilled for her, as I know that will have meant a lot to her today.
"In terms of contributions across the pitch, there was a goal for Amaya [Coleman-Evans] and two for Millie [Ravening] so I'm pleased for them all.
"It's a massive three points, like I said at the start of the week, Nottingham Forest are the Champions of the League and Cup so for us to get that result and put in that performance today means absolutely everything for everyone at the Club, and I hope the Burnley fans enjoyed that one."
