Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm that Connor Roberts' red card in Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Middlesbrough has been overturned following appeal.
The full-back will now be eligible for the Clarets' home game with Birmingham City next Tuesday.
Roberts was sent-off in the 89th minute on Saturday, after being adjudged to handle the ball on the line denying a goal scoring opportunity.
Following the game, the Club's appeal against Roberts' red card was successful and the Welshman's suspension has been rescinded and lifted with immediate effect.
