Burnley were denied a third consecutive victory on Friday night, as Baggies substitute Brandon Thomas-Asante cancelled out Jay Rodriguez's first half opener in the last minute of stoppage time at the Hawthorns.
Nathan Tella was brought down by Baggies goalkeeper David Button on the half-hour mark, with former Albion striker Rodriguez making no mistake from the spot.
Before Thomas-Asante was introduced with 20 minutes left and turned the ball home from close range in the dying seconds of an end-to-end clash.
Manager Vincent Kompany made just one change from the side that beat Millwall 2-0 on Tuesday night, with Ian Maatsen returning from suspended and into the side for Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
First Half
The first opportunity of the game fell to Baggies skipper Dara O’Shea, who headed just over Muric’s bar at the back-post from a corner in the 3rd minute.
Burnley’s first effort on target then came with 20 minutes played, as Rodriguez fired a header towards goal, but Albion keeper David Button was equal to it.
West Brom looked to have broken the deadlock moments later, but Conor Townsend’s unmarked fierce strike was saved by well by Muric to keep the scores level.

And in an end-to-end few minutes, Nathan Tella then rifled an effort just wide of the post from just outside the area.
Then with 28 minutes gone, the Clarets had their breakthrough, as Tella brought Muric’s long-ball down exceptionally well, before breaking into the area and being brought down by Button’s feet, with referee James Linnington pointing to the spot.
Former Baggies forward Rodriguez stepped up to the spot and fired home in front of the Clarets faithful to give Kompany’s side the lead on the half-hour mark in the Midlands.
Steve Bruce’s side pushed for an equaliser, with the break approaching and Diangana came closest, as his close-range effort rattled the post.

Second Half
Chances were minimal for either side in the opening stages, with Josh Cullen trying his luck on the hour mark from outside the area, but his strike sailed well over the bar.
Kompany then introduced a double change, as Darko Churlinov and Johann Berg Gudmundsson replaced Tella and Maatsen.
And Churlinov was straight into the action, breaking down the left and cutting into the area, only to see his low driven shot fizz just wide of the goal.
Defender Kyle Bartley then came close for the hosts, as his header bounced just wayward of Muric’s goal from a corner.
But the entertaining clash in Birmingham was not done there, as Vitinho latched onto a through ball and struck the ball off the inside of the post, before it was cleared away from danger.
However, it was the home side who struck late, as Thomas-Asante pounced on a loose ball in the six-yard area to ensure the honours were even.
