Burnley were beaten 2-0 at Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.
Pierre Lees-Melou’s ninth minute opener separated the two teams at half-time.
Teemu Pukki completed the scoring after 86 minutes with a well-taken finish to secure the points for Dean Smith’s Canaries in Norfolk.
Manager Sean Dyche named Matt Lowton, who came in for Connor Roberts, in the Clarets starting line-up.
First-half
The first chance fell to Norwich inside three minutes. Milot Rashica cut in from the left to hit a low shot across goal which Nick Pope dropped down to his left to beat away before Charlie Taylor put the rebound out for a corner.
Up the other end, Maxwel Cornet’s cross was met by Jay Rodriguez, but the header was comfortably saved by Tim Krul.

Burnley were behind on nine minutes when Lees-Melou side-footed a right-footed strike which deflected beyond Pope into the right-corner from the edge of the box after a corner was not fully cleared.
Minutes later, Pope produced a big save with his right-leg to thwart Teemu Pukki from inside the area after the Finnish forward got the better of captain James Tarkowski.
Midway through the opening half, Cornet tested Krul with a powerful strike heading on target.
Searching for an equaliser, Josh Brownhill’s free-kick curled over Krul’s crossbar before Lowton’s drive deflected off Ben Gibson for a corner.
Cornet’s resulting corner dropped to Wout Weghorst in the six-yard box, but the Dutchman’s snapshot was charged down by Grant Hanley, as Burnley went into the break behind.

Second-half
Three minutes following the restart, Rashica forced Pope to save with a low attempt that our England international was equal to.
Rodriguez then glanced a header wide having done well to connect with Brownhill’s cross following a set-piece situation.
Tarkowski and Nathan Collins had to be well-positioned to charge down shots at goal from Pukki and Kenny McClean.
After good build-up play from Kieran Dowell and Mathias Normann, the ball reached Pukki, though he hit it over.
Dyche made two changes in the space of five minutes, introducing Matej Vydra and Dwight McNeil for Weghorst and Lennon.
And McNeil’s impact almost led to Burnley being back on terms. The winger’s cross to the back post was put wide by an unmarked Cornet, striking into Krul’s side-netting.

McNeil then had a go himself after collecting play from Ashley Westwood, only to see his effort blocked, prior to Rodriguez firing narrowly over.
Hanley headed over from Pukki’s cross, while Pope made an excellent stop to deny Rashica.
Ashley Barnes came on for Rodriguez with six minutes left, as the Clarets pushed.
But Burnley's afternoon would end in defeat, which was confirmed by Pukki. He ran onto Normann’s pinpoint through ball to finish right-footed under Pope in the box.
In added time, Brownhill bent a shot which Krul did well to turn around the post for a corner, as the Clarets were beaten.
