Burnley extended their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions on Saturday, after a convincing 4-0 win over Swansea City at Turf Moor.
The Clarets, who moved to top of the Sky Bet Championship with the victory, opened the scoring through Vitinho's header, before Jay Rodriguez doubled the hosts' lead on the half hour mark. Anass Zaroury then grabbed his first Burnley goal just before the break, with Rodriguez then grabbing his second 10 minutes into the second half.
Vincent Kompany made just one change from the side that beat Coventry City last weekend, as Arijanet Muric came back in between the sticks for Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
First Half
It was the Swans who carved open the first opportunity of the game, as Joel Piroe forced Muric into a smart save with a curled effort from outside the area, with the Kosovan keeper pushing it behind for a corner.
However, it was the Clarets who did then break the deadlock with just 15 minutes played, as Vitinho met Ian Maatsen’s teasing cross at the back post, to head home past Steven Benda in the City goal, for his second goal of the campaign.

And on the half hour mark, Kompany’s men had their deserved second of the afternoon. Maatsen drove at the City defence, before releasing the ball out wide left for Zaroury, who picked out Rodriguez inside the area to turn it home from close range, and to double the hosts’ lead.
Burnley were not looking to stop there though, as the ball fell nicely to Josh Brownhill on the edge of the area just before the break, with the midfielder forcing Benda into an excellent tipped save over the bar.
But on the stroke of half time, the home side did add a third, as this time Brownhill picked out Zaroury, who cut into the area and fired low past Benda into the bottom corner.

Second Half
The Swans started bright in the opening few minutes of the second half and forced a corner from Piroe’s goal bound effort, which Cabango then headed over from a few yards out.
But the in-form Clarets were hungry for more and added salt to the wounds in the 57th minute, as Rodriguez fired home the fourth of the afternoon to put the game out of reach before the hour.
Things then went from bad to worse for the visitors with 15 minutes left, as Piroe was shown a straight red card for a stamp on Josh Cullen.
There was a chance for a fifth late on for Kompany's men, as a cross into the area for Manuel Benson was cleared away from danger at a pivotal moment.
