Burnley equalled the Championship's record winning run on Saturday in fine fashion with a 3-0 victory over Preston North End.
Nathan Tella's hat-trick in the Lancashire Derby proved to be the difference against North End which saw the Clarets win 10 successive Sky Bet Championship games.
Manager Vincent Kompany made just one change from the side that beat Norwich City last weekend, as Arijanet Muric returned in goal for Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Skipper Jack Cork was back amongst the substitutes after serving a two-match suspension.
First Half
After a quiet start at Turf Moor, it took the Clarets just 14 minutes to get the opener as Josh Brownhill whipped in a fine cross for Tella to glance a header home past Freddie Woodman in the North End goal.
Preston looked to reply midway through the first half as Tom Cannon picked out Alan Browne on the edge of the area, but the North End skipper’s strike was denied by Muric comfortably.

The Clarets then came close to adding a second on the half hour mark when Anass Zaroury’s cross was met by the head of Ashley Barnes but Woodman was there to palm away the forward’s’ effort.
Burnley had another opportunity before the break as Zaroury drilled a shot towards goal from inside the area only for Woodman to deny the Moroccan winger.
The hosts dominated the first 45 minutes and enjoyed a hefty 72% possession throughout, limiting Ryan Lowe’s men to just one shot all half.
Second Half
North End looked for a way back into the game and weren’t far away when Browne fired over Cannon’s cross into the box.

Moments after, Zaroury was gifted a shot on goal after intercepting a ball across field but the 22-year-old’s strike sailed well over the bar.
But with just 10 minutes played of the second half Tella had his second and the home side were two in front, after Barnes teed up the forward to wrong-foot Lindsay on the edge of the area and fire low past Woodman.
Kompany’s men were in cruise control and so was Tella as the striker grabbed his hat-trick just before the hour mark after slotting through the legs of Woodman and wheeling away in elation.
Michael Obafemi was then introduced for his Clarets debut replacing hat-trick hero Tella as the game approached the latter stages.
