Michael Obafemi’s dramatic 95th minute equaliser extended Burnley’s unbeaten run in the Sky Bet Championship to 11 matches following a 1-1 draw with Watford at Turf Moor.
Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the first half before substitute Obafemi fired in from close range deep into stoppage time to pull the scores level.
Manager Vincent Kompany named an unchanged XI from the side that beat Preston North End 3-0 on the weekend, with just Al-Dakhil replacing Charlie Taylor on the bench.
First Half
The Clarets were straight out the blocks at Turf Moor and carved open an opportunity just a minute into the game.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson latched onto a pass over the top of the Hornets defence but Daniel Bachmann was only able to push the ball away into the path of Ashley Barnes, whose goal bound strike from outside the area was tipped onto the crossbar.
Anass Zaroury then tried his luck from range from 25-yards out after cutting inside but his effort sailed over Bachmann’s goal.
Kompany’s men were dominating the early stages and had another chance just before the 20th minute mark when Barnes hooked Gudmundsson’s corner into the side netting.
But with Watford’s first effort on goal against the run of play the visitors had their opener, as Pedro picked out the back of the net with a close-range strike.
The Clarets looked for an instant response just two minutes later but Zaroury's fierce drive fizzed into the hands of Bachmann.

The home side were then dealt a blow before the break as Jordan Beyer was forced to make way after picking up a knock, with Ameen Al-Dakhil coming on in place of the German centre-back.
Second Half
There was a change between the sticks at the break for Kompany's side as Arijanet Muric made way for Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
After a cagey start, the first real opportunity of the second half fell to Gudmundsson with just under 10 minutes played but the Icelandic midfielder's shot from outside the area was denied by Bachmann.
Burnley then came inches close to equalising on the hour mark as Tella poked Barnes' flick on from a corner towards goal but Bachmann was there once again.
The Clarets then bolstered their attacking options in the search of an equaliser with 20 minutes to go as Scott Twine and Lyle Foster replaced Barnes and Gudmundsson.
But in the last minute of added time Obafemi turned it in from inside the area and made sure the honours were shared.
