The public vote is now open with a quartet of Clarets players shortlisted in recognition of their performances last season at the North West Football Awards.
The nominations see representation from the men’s team, the Clarets academy and Burnley FC Women.
Josh Brownhill – Premier League Player of the Year
Owen Dodgson – The Athletic’s Rising Star of the Season
Millie Ravening – The Athletic’s Women’s Rising Star of the Season
Evie Priestley – Women’s Player of the Season
Brownhill is a candidate for the Premier League Player of the Year, adding to his award as one of the Club’s PFA Community Champions for the 2021/22 season for his contribution to the local community.

The midfielder – who earlier this week was also nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for August – missed just three league games last term, scoring three times.
Full back Dodgson, 19, meanwhile is in the running to pick up the Rising Star of the Season award, sponsored by The Athletic.
Penning a three-year extension to his contract ahead of the start of this season, the 2021/22 campaign saw Dodgson make his first-team debut against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup.
He also racked up 22 league appearances at U23 level, impressing and being around the first-team squad under Vincent Kompany.
The equivalent prize in the women’s game includes a nomination for creative midfielder Millie Ravening, who netted 12 times in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League last term as Burnley finished 4th.
Ravening also struck in the final of the Lancashire FA Women’s Challenge Cup, which the Claret Women won for the first time with victory over North West rivals AFC Fylde Women.
Striker Priestley, Todmorden-born and a Clarets supporter, rounds off the nominations as a candidate for the Women’s Player of the Season.
She hit 16 league goals in 2021/22, finishing joint top-scorer across the division, and nine more in the LFA Women’s Challenge Cup campaign which included two in the final against the Coasters.
The honours will be announced in a ceremony taking place at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Monday, November 7.
