Josh Brownhill has been nominated for PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award for August.
The midfielder scored an impressive four goals and an assist in seven matches in the Sky Bet Championship.
Brownhill scored his first goal of the season with a curled effort at home to Luton Town, before doubling his tally for the season at Turf Moor with a rocket from outside the area against Blackpool.
The 26-year-old then grabbed a brace at the DW Stadium a week later, in a 5-1 win against Wigan Athletic, setting up a Nathan Tella strike in the process.
Brownhill is up against Hull City's Óscar Estupiñán, Ross Stewart of Sunderland, Josh Sargent from Norwich City, Sheffield United's Anel Ahmedhodžić and Illias Chair of QPR.
