Logan Pye is looking to get back on the winning side following Tuesday’s loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the Professional Development League.
The defender played 90 minutes in both that game, and the win against Leicester City four days prior as the Clarets experienced a busy few days of match action.
And Pye believes it was good for the side to get a much-needed rest, and expressed they are now raring and ready to go ahead of Monday’s game at the DW Stadium.
He said: “We’re feeling really confident, we’ve had a good run of results right up until the last game, but we’re ready to bounce back on Monday.
“We had a day off after Tuesday’s game, as we’ve had quite a busy run of games in the run-up to this one, so it was good to have a rest, and now, we’re all fit and ready to go.

“We need to get our momentum back after that game, I think we need to put a good performance in and get a good win to set us up for the next few games.”
Pye joined the Clarets on Transfer Deadline Day, following a successful trial period with the Club, in which he started in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup Final win over Barrow, and netted against Cardiff City in the league.
The 19-year-old thinks he has gelled in well with the squad and adapted to fit into the Club’s playing style since making the move permanently from Manchester United.
He added: “I feel as though I’ve settled in quite quickly, I get on well with all the lads and we’ve put some good performances together whilst I’ve been here.
“We’ve not really conceded too many goals, other than the most recent game, so it’s been a really good first few weeks with the Club.
“I think I’ve fit into the side quite well; I’ve adapted to the way the manager wants to play and learnt to play with the ball rather than fall into a scrappy game, and from a personal and team point of view, I think we’ve been good defensively as well.”
