Burnley are on home soil for the first time in close to three weeks on Wednesday night - October 5 - when Stoke City are the visitors at Turf Moor (19:45 KO).
Since the Clarets last home game against Bristol City on September 17, the September international break has been and gone, with Burnley taking a point from a 1-1 draw at Cardiff City last weekend on their return to match action.
Nathan Tella’s fourth goal in his first 10 appearances for the Club had put Burnley in front over the border, but Callum Robinson headed home late on to ensure the spoils would be shared.
That result sees Vincent Kompany’s side remain 4th in the Championship table at the time of writing, with some of the teams around them playing 24 hours earlier than the Clarets this midweek.

Stoke City
When the Potters make the trip to Turf Moor, it will only be Alex Neil’s sixth game in charge.
The Scotsman achieved promotion from Sky Bet League One with Sunderland last term, but departed for Stoke in late August after Michael O’Neill had left the helm at the Bet365 Stadium.
Neil has had a mixed bag of results during his time with the Potters so far, and on Sunday just gone watched on as his side were beaten 4-0 at home by Watford.
Stoke are now – at the time of writing – 17th in the standings, two points above the relegation zone but also only six points beneath the Play-Off spots.
The Last Time We Met
The two Clubs haven’t met since the Potters’ relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2017/18 season.

During that campaign, Burnley beat Stoke 1-0 at Turf Moor, but the most recent meeting came in the Potteries and ended in a 1-1 draw back in April 2018.
Ashley Barnes netted the leveller for the Clarets that day midway through the second half to cancel out Babou N’Diaye’s early opener.
