Burnley play out their penultimate home game of the season on Saturday afternoon when Queens Park Rangers make the trip to Turf Moor.
The Clarets head into the weekend knowing that three points on home soil would see them cement top spot following consecutive draws away against Reading & Rotherham United respectively.
Tuesday night’s draw in South Yorkshire against the Millers saw Vincent Kompany’s side twice hit the front foot with goals from Scott Twine & Manuel Benson, with the point gained extending an unbeaten record in the league to 22 matches.
Burnley still boast an unbeaten record at Turf Moor this season across all competitions, with the only games to come in Lancashire this term against QPR this weekend and Cardiff City on the last day.

Queens Park Rangers
Saturday’s visitors have endured a somewhat up and down campaign to date. Starting strong, they sat inside the play-offs when Burnley made the trip to the capital back in December for the reverse fixture.
Since though, now under Gareth Ainsworth – their third permanent manager of the season -, things have been tough for the Rs who sit 21st, are a point above the bottom three.

The Hoops have picked up one win in their last 20 league games, drawing 1-1 at home against Norwich City earlier this week.
Australia-born Scotland international Lyndon Dykes was on the scoresheet against the Canaries, his eighth goal in the league so far this season.

QPR’s visit to East Lancashire this weekend will be the 43rd time that the two sides have met competitively.
The previous one provided Burnley’s first game back post-FIFA World Cup break back in December, and the travelling Clarets enjoyed a festive three points on the road by a resounding 3-0 margin.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson opened the scoring with an inch-perfect free-kick, while Ian Maatsen made it two just before the break. The third came via Nathan Tella, extending Burnley’s unbeaten run against the Hoops to four games.
The last meeting at Turf Moor in May 2016 saw Burnley clinch promotion to the Premier League, with Sam Vokes’ second half header the difference that afternoon.
The Rs have not been victorious at Turf Moor against the Clarets since December 2007, when goals from Jamaica international Damion Stewart & Rowan Vine earned the visitors three points.
