Burnley FC Women will welcome Nottingham Forest Women to the Wham stadium on Sunday in their second league game of the season.
The clarets come off the back of a 4-0 win over Sheffield FC Women, meanwhile Forest drew with Huddersfield Town Women in the opening weekend of fixtures.
Burnley FC Women Manager, Matt Bee said: "Last Sunday was a good start to the new campaign, it is strange to think that we still haven’t had a full season in this league despite the time that has passed.
"We have learnt a lot about ourselves as a group in the games that we have played in the previous curtailed season, so we know what we need to do each week to be effective. We also know the areas that we need to sharpen up, in order to continue to achieve positive results.
"Nottingham Forest will be a huge test, they are a side, that over recent seasons have recruited and invested well, they are a squad full of quality and offer a number of threats. We have to operate effectively and ensure that everybody approaches the game in the right mentality, in order to give us a platform to achieve success."
The game will take place at Accrington Stanley FC on Sunday, KO 2pm.
Ticket information for the game is as follows:
Adults £5
Concessions £3
Tickets are available from the Clayton End ticket booth at Accrington Stanley FC from 1pm on Sunday 22nd August, (cash or card).
The refreshment point, serving hot and cold drinks will be open from 1pm and throughout the game.
Programmes will be available to purchase.
