Burnley are back in midweek action once more as they take on West Midlands outfit Birmingham City at St Andrew’s on Wednesday night (October 19) in a 7:45pm kick off.
Vincent Kompany’s side claimed all three points last time out with a dominant 4-0 victory over Russell Martin’s Swansea City.
Vitinho netted his second goal of the season, heading in at the back post, before a Jay Rodriguez double either side of Belgian winger Anass Zaroury’s first goal for the club saw the Clarets keep their unbeaten home run this season intact.
At the time of writing, that win sees the Clarets top the Sky Bet Championship with 25 points from 14 games, heading into the meeting with the Blues.

Birmingham City
John Eustace’s side currently sit 12th in the table after back-to-back wins following a three-game winless run before that.
After a slow start to the season, where the Blues took six games to gain their first victory, tomorrow’s hosts have only lost once since that opening win over Preston North End, which came at the beginning of September.
They claimed all three points away at Hull City last time out with goals from experienced striker Troy Deeney and ex-Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna.
This season is City’s twelfth consecutive campaign in the second tier, after relegation from the Premier League back in 2011. Only months earlier, they had won the Carling Cup with victory over Arsenal at Wembley.
The closest they have come to a return since is a Play-Off semi-final defeat to West Lancashire outfit Blackpool back in May 2012.
The Last Time We Met
The Clarets last encounter with Birmingham came in our 2015/16 promotion season when a 2-1 win at St Andrew’s extended the run to 19 games undefeated, ultimately ending at 23.
That game came in April 2016 with George Boyd and Andre Gray on target for the Clarets either side of a Jacques Maghoma leveller for the hosts.
Blues midfielder Jon Toral was shown a second yellow card – and a subsequent red – in added time for a trip on Lloyd Dyer having already brought down Joey Barton early on in the first half.
