Burnley began their pre-season friendly schedule with a win over Fleetwood Town at the Burnley Training Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Marcus Edwards' goal in the first-half turned out to be the winning strike on a scorching day, as plenty of Scott Parker's men got useful minutes into their legs.
One of those being Jordan Beyer, as the German defender featured in the second-half playing in a fixture for the first time since December 2023, after suffering a long-term injury.
The Clarets now turn their attention towards Portugal, with Parker's side travelling to their training base on Sunday.
