The Burnley squad touched down in Portugal on Sunday afternoon ahead of a week-long training camp in the Algarve.
Following Saturday’s maiden pre-season friendly of the campaign - a 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town - Scott Parker’s squads’ preparations for the 2025/26 Premier League season will continue in earnest in Quinta do Lago this week.
With temperatures expected to be in the early 30’s, the Clarets players will certainly be put through their paces during the trip, with double training sessions scheduled throughout the week, as Parker’s squad get to spend some valuable time together with just over a month to go until the big kick-off.
After touching down in Faro earlier this afternoon, the squad enjoyed a light lunch, before a lengthy bike ride along the picturesque boardwalk of Quinta do Lago, cycling the flight out of their legs ahead of the first of two sessions tomorrow.
