Nick Pope is again named in England’s squad for their international triple-header as one of half-a-dozen Clarets called up by their countries.
The Clarets’ goalkeeper is included in the England party to play the Republic of Ireland in a Wembley friendly on Thursday, 12 November, which will mean a match-up against Turf Moor team-mates Robbie Brady and Kevin Long.
England - who gave Pope his first Wembley start and a third cap in a 3-0 win over Wales last month - then go to group leaders Belgium and host Iceland in the Uefa Nations League.
Brady and Long are both included in the Ireland squad for the game against England and then Nations League group fixtures at home to Bulgaria and away to unbeaten leaders Wales.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell also faces a big date as the Clarets’ goalkeeper looks to help Northern Ireland reach the delayed finals of Euro 2020.
Peacock-Farrell is the first-choice keeper in the squad to host Slovakia at Windsor Park on Thursday, 12 November.
The winners will qualify for the finals and go into Group E alongside Spain, Poland and Sweden at the tournament next summer.
The Burnley man – one of the heroes of Northern Ireland’s penalty shoot-out win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off semi-finals – is one of three goalkeepers in the squad which will also plays Nations League group games against Austria and Norway.
Iceland also face a Euro 2020 play-off final tie, with Clarets’ winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson selected for the trip to Hungary.
Striker Matej Vydra will also head off on international duty following the Clarets’ Friday night trip to Brighton after retaining his place in the Czech Republic squad for a friendly against Germany and Nations League ties against Israel and Slovakia as the Czechs look to close the gap on group leaders Scotland.
