Both sides are looking for their first league victories of the season with the Clarets also seeking to regain the winning thread at Turf Moor.
Sean Dyche’s side come into the game on the back of a penalty shoot-out success over Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup at St James’ Park on Wednesday. Welsh international goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was the hero with two penalty saves.
Leeds United also progressed with a 3-0 win over League One Crewe Alexandra.
It will be the first time these two sides have met in the top-flight in front of a Turf Moor crowd since October 1975 when Trevor Cherry got the only goal in a 1-0 win for the Yorkshire side.

Dyche is keen to get the first three points on board.
He said: “It’s the same old, every team wants to get that win on the board. We have had spells, including last year, when that hasn’t happened. I actually think we have performed pretty well so far but there is no naivety to my words, it is about results.”
The Burnley boss is looking forward to seeing his team play in front of a big Turf Moor crowd.
“They have always been important and stood by us through the ups and downs and I think they will continue to do that. It’s another home game and a chance to perform in front of our fans with their backing,” Dyche added.

OPPOSITION CAMP
Marcelo Bielsa has signed left-back Junior Firpo from Barcelona.
After three seasons on loan, Jack Harrison has made the move from Manchester City a permanent one.
Leeds finished ninth last season in their first campaign back in the Premier League since 2004. Their points total of 59 was just two away from a European place. It was their best top-flight finish since David O’Leary led them to fifth place in 2002.
United did the double over Burnley last season but Bielsa knows it will be a tough game.
"It's a very difficult to team to face because they have a very clear and stabilised manner in which they play and normally to overcome them is difficult."
