The Clarets return to Turf Moor for a Saturday lunch-time kick-off and boss Sean Dyche is looking for his players pick up where they left off last time.
A Chris Wood strike brought Burnley a first home goal and first home win of the season in a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace a fortnight ago.
They couldn’t back that up by getting anything at Manchester City last weekend as the former champions cruised to a 5-0 win.
But Dyche was buoyed by the showing against Palace as his side briefly moved out of the bottom three.

And with Everton arriving at Turf Moor out of sorts after four defeats in five games to slip back towards mid-table, the Burnley boss is hoping for a repeat on his 200th game as a Premier League manager.
“I thought it was a valid win in the end (against Palace),” said Dyche.
“It was a tight game, which is often the case in our games.
“We’ve got to show signs of delivering another performance like that.
“We slipped away from it the following week, but against top opposition.
“We have got to get back to the reality of our performances.
“We’ve not been a million miles away this season, but we have to make sure we’re closer to our level of performance because when we do that, we know historically we can win games and get points on the table.”
Team news
The Clarets should have goalkeeper Nick Pope and midfield man Josh Brownhill back after the pair were two of six Burnley players missing through injury at Manchester City last weekend.

Summer signing Dale Stephens has resumed training, along with Robbie Brady, so both may make the squad.
However, Phil Bardsley and Johann Berg Gudmundsson are doubts.
Everton will be without skipper Seamus Coleman following an injury sustained on international duty and long-term absentees Lucas Digne and Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
Form guide
The Clarets had been unbeaten in two games – without conceding a goal – before losing 5-0 at Manchester City last Saturday.
Sean Dyche’s men won their last home game, a 1-0 success over Crystal Palace giving them their first league victory of the season and first points at Turf Moor.
Everton started the season with seven successive victories to top the Premier League table and advance to the quarter-finals of the League Cup – where they will face Manchester United two days before Christmas.
However, the Merseysiders have since won only one of their last six games, with four defeats in the last five seeing them slip to eight place.
Their only victory in that run was a 3-2 success at Fulham in their last away game.
Opposition camp
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti: “I think it will be the same game (as his first in charge of Everton against the Clarets on Boxing Day, 2019).

“Burnley didn’t change its identity. It’s a strong one and a strong organisation.
“They are better now compared to the start of the season, we know what kind of game to expect.”
Match stats
The game will be Burnley boss Sean Dyche’s 200th Premier League game as a manager, becoming the 35th manager to reach the landmark.
None of the 12 previous Premier League meetings between the clubs has been a draw.
Burnley have beaten Everton more times at Turf Moor than any other club in the Premier League, with four home wins against the Toffees.
Everton are without a clean sheet in nine Premier League games and have not kept a clean sheet in 22 top-flight fixtures at Burnley since March 1958.
Clarets striker Matej Vydra will make his 250th league appearance in England if he features.

Burnley winger Dwight McNeil has played in 66 successive Premier League games since coming off the bench to face Everton on Boxing Day, 2018.
He has started all bar one of those matches, with his only substitute’s appearance coming at Everton in May, 2019.
