Burnley return to action after the international break with a home fixture against 10th placed Crystal Palace. The Clarets have taken five points from the last three games including a draw at Champions League winners Chelsea.
Three-times Premier League winner Patrick Vieira has taken over from former England boss Roy Hodgson. He led the Eagles to a sensational 2-0 win at the Etihad against reigning champions Manchester City. Wilf Zaha and Conor Gallagher scored. Gallagher, who is loan from Chelsea, made his England debut in the 10-0 rout of San Marino.
Manager Sean Dyche was delighted with the draw at Stamford Bridge.
"I don't think we have been far away, but the table doesn't care if you were close, it cares if you won and one defeat in our last six league matches shows we are getting there and picking up the points."
The Burnley boss has been impressed with Vieira’s start to Premier League management.
Along with the recruitment, it looks to me there’s that-new-manager edge, trying to be on the front foot more, trying to pass, trying to play.
“I don’t know him that well, I met him recently by chance. I did remind him 'enjoy it now' because it doesn’t last forever.”

Former Lyon defender Joachim Andersen missed the recent Denmark internationals but he has been training and is likely to retain his place in the Eagles’ side.

Opposition guide
Both Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher played for England U21s against the Czech Republic at Turf Moor last week.
This is Palace’s ninth successive season in the Premier League. Their best finish was 10th under Alan Pardew in 2015.
Guehi captained the young England side at Turf Moor in the 3-1 win over the Czech Republic. He was a World Cup winner at Under-17 level in India four years ago. A number of that squad are now playing at the top level.
“It’s really important, it keeps us in good stead for longevity in our careers, having had such experience at youth level - to see so many of us from the Under-17s World Cup winning team playing in the top leagues in Europe is fantastic,” said Guehi who has played in all 11 Premier League games for the Eagles since his summer move from Chelsea.
Does the young centre-back think he can make a late push for Gareth Southgate’s squad for Qatar?
”I like to live in the present, I’m grateful for where I am now, I’m with Palace, trying to do as well as possible for Palace and the Under 21s.
“You do keep one eye open, just in case, but I think living in the present and doing the best you can right now and seeing what happens elsewhere is best.”
