Clarets Head Coach wins Utilita award following Monday night's win

Scott Parker has been awarded the League Manager's Association 'Utilita Performance of the Week' award following Monday night 4-1 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The game was Parker's first competitive fixture in charge of the Clarets, after being appointed Head Coach in July and Parker & his team got their 2024/25 campaign off to a dream start.

Goals from Josh Brownhill, Wilson Odobert, Dara O'Shea and Vitinho sealed all three points for the visitors in a dominant performance against the Hatters.

The result and impressive display from the season opener has seen Parker win the first LMA 'Performance of the Week' award from Utilita, with a panel comprising of Martin O’Neill OBE, Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Chris Hughton, Rachel Yankey OBE, Les Ferdinand MBE, Clare Tomlinson, Jess Creighton, Stuart Pearce MBE, and Barry Fry.
