Head Coach Scott Parker admitted, although there was disappointment to not come away with all three points against Hull City, he was delighted with the response his side showed after being a goal down at the break.
Xavier Simons' deflected effort gave the Tigers a half-time advantage, but Burnley hit back through Zian Flemming's equaliser in the 75th minute and could have gone on to win it in the latter stages.
Speaking post-match Parker said: “I’m a little bit disappointed, especially at the end, because it’s obviously a massive chance to win. It looked like a stonewall goal, didn’t it? But Jaidon slipped and he’s not managed to get the three points over the line.
“Analysing the game, I thought we started the game really well but my feeling is we got to the edge of their box really well and the details just weren’t there. There was a real sloppiness with that final bit.
“We had a lot of turnovers and some of our basics let us down, which can happen. I don’t think there was much detail about it, there were just some poor bits.
“Saying that, I was absolutely delighted with them in the second-half. This is a team that hasn’t conceded a goal in four games so what reaction are we going to see? Is there going to be vast disappointment and are we going to be a team that doesn’t react in the right way?
“But the second-half proved every bit of what I want us to be. There was a relentlessness about us and we kept going.
“It’s eight unbeaten now. It’s a tough place to come and we managed to give ourselves an uphill battle but we’ve managed to get out of here with a point.”

The draw sees the Clarets extend their unbeaten league run to eight matches and Parker is taking all the positives from that.
"I’m really, really happy because this is the first time we had a real test for this team. We’ve obviously been in a test in terms of Sunderland, but this is a totally different team that went there.
“I’m really pleased with the reaction I got from the players in the second-half and this run is a sign of a good team."
Flemming's second-half equaliser was his first for the Club since arriving from Millwall in August and the Burnley chief was pleased to see the Dutchman get off the mark for the 2024/25 campaign.
“He took it well and he’s been absolutely superb since he walked in here. You’ve seen his quality in the last two games.
“This is someone who hasn’t had a pre-season. He had an injury in pre-season so we’ve had to take care of him.
“I was really concerned on Wednesday night in terms of playing him because he’s coming off a long lay-off and it’s a quick turnaround. He gave us everything though and he deserves his goal.”
