Cornet on target in Ivory Coast victory
Maxwel Cornet started for the Ivory Coast on Saturday, where the African side ran out 3-0 winners against Mozambique in their 2022 World Cup Qualifier.
Cornet assisted Max Gradel for the opener in the 10th minute, before the Burnley man doubled the hosts' lead on the hour mark.
The 25-year-old then made way for Arsenal winger Nicholas Pepe with 20 minutes left, with Fulham's Jean Michael Seri adding a third late on and sealing all three points for the home side, who remain top of the qualifying group.
Up next for the Ivory Coast is a trip to Cameroon, who sit just one point behind The Elephants in their respective group.
Big three points for Roberts, Hennessey and Wales
Connor Roberts started at right-back for Rob Page's side on Saturday, who thrashed Belarus 5-1 in Cardiff, as Wales closed the gap on third-place Czech Republic, with a possiblity of World Cup qualification still in reach.

Wales face table-toppers Belgium tomorrow night at the Cardiff City stadium, where a win would put the second-placed side just two points off the group leaders.

The forward replaced Sparta Prague's Jakub Pesek, who grabbed two goals for the Czechs in the friendly.

Danny Hay's side then take on Gambia in another friendly on Tuesday night, before Wood will return to England.
