Despite a dominant display from the first minute until the last, Burnley were held to a 0-0 draw at home to QPR on Saturday afternoon, which saw their unbeaten Sky Bet Championship run extended to nine matches.
The Clarets had a handful of opportunities throughout, but just couldn't break the deadlock against a stubborn Rangers defence, which saw the points shared at Turf Moor.
Scott Parker named two changes from Wednesday night’s trip to Hull City, as Josh Laurent and Bashir Humphreys returned to the XI for Hannibal and Lucas Pires.
The Clarets forced an early chance with just five minutes on the clock when Laurent threaded a perfectly-timed through ball into the path of Jaidon Anthony, who saw his effort blocked and out for a corner.

QPR did respond to that with an opportunity of their own, as Paul Smyth broke into the area and saw his strike rattle the inside of the crossbar, in what was a lively few minutes.
Burnley came close again 15 minutes in, when Humphreys rose highest inside the box, but saw his powerful header from Anthony’s corner sail over the crossbar.
The home side were dominating the early stages and caved open another chance minutes later, as Zian Flemming saw his looped effort from the edge of the area skim just wide of the target.
Another opportunity fell Burnley’s way and this time to Connor Roberts, but just after the Welshman had latched onto Flemming’s pass and lined-up a strike on goal from close range, R’s defender Steve Cook swiped the ball out for a corner.

The hosts had Rangers pinned against the wall, as the last chance of the half saw Luca Koleosho curl a dangerous ball into the area, only to narrowly miss Flemming, before Anthony saw his strike blocked by former Claret Jimmy Dunne.
It took just a minute into the second-half for Burnley to hit the woodwork, as Roberts lifted an effort from outside the area onto the top of the crossbar.
With the hour mark approaching, Laurent then saw his teasing cross sway towards the goal, forcing Nardi to tip it over for a corner.
After a penalty appeal for a handball from QPR defender Dunne was waved away by Andrew Kitchen, Flemming latched onto a ball over the defence, only to see Nardi catch his headed effort.
Parker made a double change with just under 20 minutes left on the clock, as the hosts searched for the opener, with Humphreys and Cullen making way for Lucas Pires and Jay Rodriguez.
