A five-star showing from Burnley saw Scott Parker’s side seal a second consecutive win in the Sky Bet Championship following the 5-0 victory over Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Clarets were gifted an early opener as Ethan Horvath mistimed a pass-back and saw the ball hit the back of his own net, before the home side added a second through Luca Koleosho's strike.
Five minutes into the second-half, Burnley had their third of the afternoon when Josh Brownhill latched onto a ball through the City defence and slotted home past Horvath.
Substitute Zeki Amdouni then smashed in a fourth from range with two minutes left, before another substitute in Johann Berg Gudmundsson finished the scoring off with a fifth in stoppage time.
Parker named two changes from Monday night’s win at Kenilworth Road as Vaclav Hladký replaced James Trafford between the sticks, who missed out through illness.
Meanwhile, Jay Rodriguez was named in the XI coming in for Wilson Odobert, who joined Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.

After a quiet opening at a noisy Turf Moor, the Clarets were ahead in the 9th minute, when Dimitrios Goutas played the ball back to Horvath in the City goal, but the shot-stopper mistimed the pass back, as the ball skimmed under his boot and rolled into the back of the net to gift the hosts the lead.
There was a glorious chance for the Bluebirds to equalise minutes later, when Ralls played in Meite, but the forward could only strike over the oncoming Hladky and rattle the inside of the post from close range.
City did think they had pulled one back midway through the first-half, when Hladky saved Callum Chambers’ header, before Meite turned it home from an offside position.
However, with just over 10 minutes left until the break, the Clarets added their second of the afternoon, as Rodriguez’s cut-back fell kindly to Koleosho, who lined-up an effort and rifled it into the back of the net.

Burnley headed into the break with the advantage and a two-goal lead despite a couple of chances from City to get on the scoresheet.
City had the first effort of the second-half, when Willock broke forward into space and unleashed an effort which fizzed just wide of the target.
But just a minute after that strike, the Clarets added a third when Brownhill was played in one-on-one with only Horvath to beat and the skipper made no mistake of lifting the ball over the keeper, before wheeling away in celebration.
City had a chance to pull one back on the hour mark when Callum O'Dowda's header from a corner was met but caught well by the hands of Hladký.
The Czech keeper was forced into action again 10 minutes later when Ng fired an effort towards the bottom corner but the summer signing was equal to it.

With just under 20 minutes left on the clock, Parker made his first change of the afternoon as Wout Weghorst and Gudmundsson were introduced for Foster and Vitinho.
It didn’t take too long for another substitute in Amdouni to then make an impact, as the Swiss international rocketed an effort from 25-yards out, which came off the crossbar and bounced over the line and put the game out of sight.
Gudmundsson then rounded off the perfect afternoon in stoppage time after firing low past Horvath and sealing the three points.
After an impressive display once again, the Clarets’ attention now turns to next Saturday’s trip to Sunderland.
