After a three-week break, Burnley are back in action on Saturday with a home game against reigning champions Manchester City.
Burnley will play 11 games in seven weeks as they attempt to climb the league table.
Sean Dyche said: "We’re not overthinking it as a collective, we’ve got to make sure we’re right for the next game and we've always had a one-game mentality. You go in to win and our mentality is to set the team up to win the game."
Despite a goalless draw in their last Premier League game at Selhurst Park, the Burnley boss appreciates how well Pep Guardiola’s side are performing.
"It’s a big challenge against Man City, they’re a fine side without a doubt. We’ve beat these sides in the past but it’s very difficult. Performances are key and we’ll take it on, that’s what you have to do in these games."
Form guide
After picking up seven points in a week against Brighton, Tottenham and Crystal Palace, Burnley have lost their last three games.
Burnley sit in 19th place with 21 points.
Manchester City’s only away league defeat of the season came on the opening weekend with a 1-0 loss at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs have beaten them home and away this season.
Opposition guide
Last time out Manchester City won 4-1 at Southampton in their FA Cup quarter-final with goals from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.
Ahead of the weekend, City lead the Premier League by a point from rivals Liverpool.
Guardiola’s side are still in the Champions League and FA Cup where they are set to face Atletico Madrid and Liverpool respectively. They play their home tie against Diego Simeone’s side on Tuesday with Liverpool coming to the Etihad in the Premier League next weekend.
Guardiola commented on City’s busy schedule but also confirmed he would play his strongest side.
“We have a lot of games this month, potentially nine games and in every game we will select the best team to win the game. The selection is taken for the next game.
“Players come back from the national team and some come back more tired, some are fitter than the other ones. It depends on that and the opponent.
“The plan depends on seeing the players yesterday and today in the training session. I saw how they came from their national teams and holidays. Then after I will decide. It’s tough to win a game in Burnley.”
