Clarets entertain Blues in Turf Moor clash

Burnley are back at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, as Scott Parker's men host Chelsea in the Premier League in the early lunchtime kick-off live on TNT Sports.

The Clarets head into the clash in search of getting back to winning ways, after wins over Leeds and Wolves were followed by defeats to Arsenal and West Ham United.

Parker's men currently sit 17th in the league table and three points over the Blues could lift the hosts into 14th place.

Saturday's opponents head to Lancashire in third place, six points off top spot and are unbeaten in their last four fixtures in all competitions.

The opposition

The Blues travel to Turf Moor in strong form, after losing just once in their last nine games in all competitions, winning seven of them, which sees Enzo Maresca's side sat third in the league table.

After a steady start to the campaign, which saw Chelsea win two and draw two of their opening four league games, the London side went on to lose three out of four fixtures in September.

However, after that tricky run of games, the Blues were on a roll and went on to win all four games against Benfica, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Ajax, before suffering a last minute defeat to Sunderland.

The Stamford Bridge outfit bounced back from that loss just a few days later with a dramatic 4-3 win in the Carabao Cup over Wolves, before wins over Spurs and Wolves again, this time in the Premier League, either side of a draw with Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League.
