Clarets back on home turf to face the Seagulls

Burnley return to Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, as Scott Parker's men welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Turf Moor in the Premier League.

It will be the first time the Clarets have played since 21st March, following the March international break and Emirates FA Cup weekend.

Parker's men head into this weekend's clash in 19th place, nine points behind West Ham in 18th and 10 points behind Spurs in 17th.

Saturday's visitors Brighton, who sit 10th in the league table, have lost just once in their last five league games, winning the other four.

“Brighton are a very good team. They're a football club that has got a clear direction, you see that in terms of the players they recruit.

“The managers they recruit are very, very similar and I think their style of play is very, very consistent.

“This is a team that over the last six, seven years have consistently played that way really and you can see that.

“They've a brilliant coach who's coming off a very good run and had a very good season. There's big quality in their team and I think we've seen that over this year and certainly in their last set of fixtures. So a good side, which we're going to need to be fully prepared for.”
