Clarets head to London for final away trip of the season

Burnley travel to the Emirates Stadium on Monday evening, to take on title-chasing Arsenal in the penultimate Premier League game of the 2025/26 campaign.

The Clarets head into the clash with the Gunners following a well deserved point against Aston Villa last weekend and Mike Jackson's side will be aiming to build on that performance in London.

Following Manchester City's win over Crystal Palace in the week, Arsenal are now unable to win the league title on Monday against the Clarets.

Mikel Arteta's side currently sit top of the league table, two points clear of City and result dependant, the earliest it could now be won is on Tuesday night following City's clash with Bournemouth, otherwise it will go down to the final day of the season.

“You look at a game like that, and you look at the importance of it, to everyone in the competition. But I think from our point of view, you’ve got to look at it as an opportunity as well. One, to be involved in a game like that. Two, to be really excited about that. And it’s a platform to then go and perform.

“We can’t influence everything that’s going on around it, all the noise. What we can do is we can make sure, like we did against Villa last week, that we’re still taking the competition really seriously and that’s what we’ll do.”
