Please read the below information if you are making the journey to Emirates Stadium
Arsenal staff will be spot-checking fans on entry to the stadium with regard to their vaccination status. Full details with a link to FAQs can be found here The FSA also have issued the following that might be useful for travelling fans, this can be found here. Further updates, if anything does change from the norm, will be posted on Arsenal.com and on their twitter accounts; @Arsenal and @ArsenalMatchday. Please read Arsenal's ‘visitors guide’ which we hope will help you on your visit to Emirates stadium. Urgent note – Emirates Stadium is now cashless, and please ignore the ‘early-bird’ offer as this is no longer in place. We are updating the Visitors guide but as you can see the guide does not state these facts at present.
Please read Arsenal's ‘Get to Emirates Stadium’ page on Arsenal.com which provides full information on the many ways to get there, plus further links to useful sites such as the Transport for London journey planner. There is also a separate page for matchday safety and security which can be found here. We would recommend that supporters use the Transport for London twitter account @TfL or website for transport updates. According to TFL there is planned strike action on the Central and Victoria lines on Saturday night, this could have some residual effect on travel plans, as the Victoria line especially is one of the main access routes to the Islington area.
If supporters are travelling by National Rail services, we would recommend them to use the national rail enquires website before travelling. Supporters are strongly advised not to drive to Emirates Stadium. The ground is situated in a mainly residential area with an extensive Event Day Parking Scheme in operation. Only car owners with resident's permits will be allowed to park on-street in the designated areas and any cars parked illegally will be towed away.
The designated ‘away fans’ pub the Drayton Arms which is situated directly opposite the away section is currently closed for refurbishment and therefore not available for this match. The Metropolitan police have advised that there is no provision for an ‘away fans’ pub in the vicinity of the ground currently and away fans are asked to drink away from the Islington area.
The ’Away’ turnstiles will open at 12pm and supporters are advised to arrive as early as possible.
Alcohol will be served in the away section at the start and as with every game they reserve the right to pull sales. If sales are pulled, bars will re-open for soft drinks and food only.
Security at Emirates Stadium is at a high level so please make sure you arrive early to ensure entry to the stadium in time for kick-off. Outside the turnstiles stewards will search by way of a full pat down body search.
Supporters are encouraged not to bring a bag and only essential items. Maximum bag size is A4. All bags are searched and tagged prior to entry. The current guideline is that turnstiles will open for the away section two hours before kick off. We recommend that supporters arrive at least one hour before kick-off, again if there is any change to this we will let you know.
There are no ‘left luggage’ facilities at Emirates Stadium. The nearest left luggage facilities are at Kings Cross station.
A list of their up to date banned items can be found here. The full ground regulations can be found here. Arsenal Football Club operates a zero tolerance policy towards abusive or anti-social behaviour in any form. If supporters wish to report an incident or concern they should report this to the nearest steward or, alternatively, send the text message FOUL to our ‘See Something, Say Something’ SMS reporting service on 67777 together with a description of the incident.
For any ticketing enquiries on matchday the Box Office is situated next to the Armoury Store on the West side of the Stadium.
Emirates Stadium has up to six accessible parking bays available for visiting disabled supporters with a valid Blue Badge. These are booked via the Disability Liaison Team using the form attached (please copy for each individual applicant). Applications must be received no later than 10 days prior to the fixture date and must include a copy of both sides of the Blue Badge - completed forms should be emailed to bluebadgeparking@arsenal.co.uk Travel information can be found here. Additionally for specific information on accessibility on Transport for London please click here. Please note that the Changing Places Toilet facility is in the home area of the stadium therefore should any supporters want to use the facility, please contact our Disability Liaison Team prior to the match to arrange an escort to enable you to use this facility.
All the wheelchair accessible toilets (including our Changing Places Toilet Facility), both inside and outside the stadium are fitted with RADAR locks to prevent abuse by non-disabled supporters. Disabled supporters will therefore need a RADAR key to open the doors. If they do not have a RADAR key or, have not brought their own with them to the game, all supervising stewards inside the stadium have a key that they can use and then return to the steward concerned.
We welcome assistance dogs to the stadium but request that the Disability Liaison Team are informed prior to attendance with seat location. There is a dog spending area external to the stadium opposite Block F, accessible with a RADAR key.
For further information on all our facilities and services for disabled supporters, please contact Jon Dyster Disability, Access Manager or Jacquie Pollard Disability Liaison Officer
