Part Two of this week’s ‘Loan Watch’
13 players are currently on loan deals away from the Club, across various leagues and countries, including the Danish Superliga, Scottish Premiership, German Bundesliga and Turkish Süper Lig.
This tally includes players from the first team, U21s and U18s, and below is a round up of how the final six players, in alphabetical order, fared in this week’s fixtures.
Michael Mellon (Morecambe)
Mellon began the past week by netting once again, as his 26th minute goal helped the Shrimps to secure a 2-1 victory against Forest Green Rovers at The New Lawn Stadium.
The U21s striker then played another 90 minutes, as Morecambe battled to a 1-1 draw in their Lancashire derby with Accrington Stanley, with that result leaving Derek Adams' side 12th in the table.
A game against Colchester United follows for the Shrimps before they face Barrow in the EFL Trophy next Tuesday night.

Owen Dodgson (Barnsley)
Dodgson played 58 minutes as his loan side Barnsley fell to a 1-0 defeat against Blackpool at Oakwell, in their first of two games this past week.
The Tykes got back to winning ways convincingly - despite the left back being an unused substitute - as they thrashed Cambridge United 4-0 away from home.
Neill Collins’ fourth placed side face Exeter City this Saturday, in their last game before the international break.

Samuel Bastien (Kasımpaşa S.K.)
DR Congo midfielder Bastien came on in the 58th minute of his Turkish loan side Kasımpaşa’s 3-2 victory over Fatih Karagümrük on Sunday, as a brace from Aytaç Kara and Federico Ceccherini’s own goal helped them to a victory.
That win leaves Kemal Özdeş’ side sat an impressive 6th in the Turkish Süper Lig table, following 12 points in their first seven fixtures and although Bastien is yet to make his first start for the club, he has featured as a substitute in all three games that have taken place since he made the move.
A tough game follows next for Kasımpaşa, as they welcome league leaders Fenerbahce – who have won seven from seven so far this season – to the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium on Sunday.

Sam Waller (Hyde United)
In his first of two games this week, Waller unfortunately could not stop his loan side from crashing out of the Emirates FA Cup at the third qualifying round stage, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Marine.
However, it was a much more successful second match, as not only did the Tigers record a 2-1 victory over Atherton Collieries, but with the scores at 1-1, Waller kept out a Colls spot kick to help his side to victory.
Next up for Hyde is an away game against Workington before they face Avro in the Manchester Premier Cup.
This week’s game(s): SAT – Workington (A), TUE – Avro (A)

Scott Twine (Hull City)
Twine and Hull picked up a point in their first fixture of this double gameweek, as they drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle at the MKM Stadium, in a game that the midfielder featured for 28 minutes in, coming on as a substitute.
The on-loan 24-year-old also came off the bench in the Tigers 3-0 defeat to Ipswich Town, this time at half-time, but he couldn’t help his side avoid defeat against the top-of-the-table Tractor Boys.
It’s a trip to The Den to face Millwall up next for Liam Rosenior’s side, who sit eighth in the Sky Bet Championship table, just outside the play off places on goal difference.
This week’s game(s): SAT – Millwall (A)

Wout Weghorst (TSG Hoffenheim)
Weghorst missed this week’s tricky game against Borussia Dortmund for Die Kraichgauer through injury, as they fell to their first defeat since the opening game of the season – in which the Dutch striker also didn’t feature – losing 3-1.
The result leaves Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side sixth in the league standings with 12 points after six games, following four wins and two losses.
Hoffenheim face a trip to Werder Bremen on Saturday in their next game, which will be their final fixture before the international break.
