Jack McEvilly has joined Clitheroe, who play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West, on an initial one-month loan deal.
The move is an opportunity for McEvilly to play senior football for the first time, having been with the Clarets since U12s level.
Having turned 18 in September, the centre-back is a key part of Tony Philliskirk’s U18s side.
Born in Liverpool, the teenager penned a three-year professional contract in October 2023 and will now link up with ‘The Blues’, who appointed former Accrington Stanley stalwart Sean McConville as their manager last week.
McEvilly could make his Clitheroe debut when they travel to face Chasetown this weekend.
