Burnley Football Club can confirm that Vernon Masara has joined Northern Premier League side FC United of Manchester on a month-long youth loan.
The move is the 18-year-old’s first taste of senior football, having signed professional terms with the Clarets in May 2024.
A versatile forward known for his pace, Masara can play either through the middle or out wide and has featured off the bench in all three of the U21s’ matches this season.
He now links up with FC United, who are managed by Mark Beesley and have an FA Cup first qualifying round fixture against Rossington Main this weekend.
