Waller & Moss extend loans till end of season

Burnley Football Club can confirm that Harry Moss has joined Barnoldswick Town on a youth loan running until 31st January, while fellow goalkeeper Sam Waller has extended his own youth loan at Lancaster City until the same date.

Second-year scholar Moss has been at Burnley since the summer of 2021, and has been named on the U21s bench already this season alongside featuring for the youth team.

The towering shot stopper will now link up with local outfit Barnoldswick, who sit 10th in the North West Counties Premier Division at the time of writing. Moss’ debut could come tomorrow at home against Squires Gate.

Waller meanwhile will remain in the Northern Premier League’s Premier Division with Lancaster until the end of the month.

Stockport-born, Waller joined the Clarets academy when he was 12 in the summer of 2016. He has since been a prominent feature in the youth team and the U21s as well as being named on the bench at senior level against Brighton & Hove Albion last season.

Waller has been with Lancaster at the Giant Axe since early October, and earned thier Player of the Month award at the first time of asking. He has thus far made 15 appearances during his time out on loan.
