Burnley Football Club can confirm that Everton have exercised their right to recall women’s team striker Mel Lawley with immediate effect.
Lawley joined the Clarets on a season-long loan deal in the summer and marked her debut with two goals against Middlesbrough on the opening day.
The striker has totalled nine appearances in all competitions, netting four times.
We would like to thank Mel for her efforts in a Burnley shirt and wish her the best of luck for the future.
