The Dude Perfect International Youth Cup will be held at the Burnley Training Centre this month – with the latest set of teams revealed from some of the best academies in world football.
LaLiga’s Valencia, the Bundesliga’s Hertha Berlin as well as Portugal’s Braga and Poland’s Lech Poznan will be bringing the best of their under 12s to Lancashire for the third iteration of the tournament.
They join Burnley, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, Sevilla, Genk, Celtic and FC Dallas from Major League Soccer as the teams announced with more still to come.
The three-day tournament gets underway on Friday 30th May, with eight countries now set to be represented at the yearly event – won last year by Juventus.
Having won the Plate trophy last year, Burnley will be aiming to go one step better and win the grand prize.
Dude Perfect, the Official Junior & Academy Shirt Partner of Burnley FC, will return as title partner for the second year running.
Academy Manager Chris Casper said: “We are delighted to announce the latest set of teams for what is shaping up to be a fantastic tournament.
“The Dude Perfect International Youth Cup is a great opportunity for young players to grow in a competitive environment but also learn from players their age travelling here from all over Europe and the world.
“I’d like to welcome Valencia, Hertha Berlin, Braga and Lech Poznan to the competition, and we look forward to hosting all the teams here later this month.”
Tickets are free and you can apply here for a fun three days of football for all the family taking place from Friday 30th May – Sunday 1st June.
