Manager Vincent Kompany believes it's only a matter of time before his side start equalling the goals, to the chances created, as the Clarets begin their double game week on Tuesday evening at home to Hull City.
The Burnley boss faced the press on Monday afternoon, discussing Friday's result at Watford, the recruitment over the summer, team selection ahead of Tuesday and a busy few weeks on the horizon.
Kompany on moving on from Friday:
"If we keep our performances high, then I think we will get the results we deserve.
"If you look at this one game, then you are maybe disappointed with the result, but I hope we can keep those performances going and maybe for longer spells."
"I believe if we continue this, overtime it will give us the results we want."
Kompany on recruitment and new players settling in:
"The recruitment is the important part of any rebuild, for us the margin for mistakes is small, so we have to make the right decisions.
"Blending them into the group has been a good thing to do here, we have had a lot of help from the senior players here and that has enabled it do it quicker."
Kompany on the squad injury's:
"We saw Jay (Rodriguez) come on Friday night, I thought he looked good, which is good for us.
"I think with Twiney (Scott), there's a lot of games coming up, so in time it won't be too long, but he might miss the next couple for us."
Kompany on the next couple of weeks of fixtures:
"I look at our team and I think over time it is a team that is capable of putting a run together and if it happens early doors then we will be happy.
"This team needs end results and development time, there are so many details that I see in our game, that if we improve those then results will come because of that.
"This period of time is almost equally important to win the games, as to spend a lot of time improving the players, but one has to come first.
"Then you get consistent results and you can start talking about winning five or six in a row."

Kompany on Hull City:
"It is always expect the unexpected.
"On Friday, he (Rob Edwards) switched from a back five to a back four for the first time in 53 games, so you have to be ready.
"I think our team adapted well to that and you have to just be prepared.
"So, with Hull we have seen everything they have done and we will expect the unexpected."
