Manager Vincent Kompany insists that full focus and preparation is on Wednesday night's trip to Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship, despite having an FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester City on the horizon this weekend.
The Clarets travel to the MKM Stadium in search of a 24th win of the campaign and aim to extend the unbeaten run to 17 successive matches, but Kompany admits he is expecting a difficult test against the Tigers.
Speaking ahead of the visit to East Yorkshire, Kompany praised City's 'organised side' and believes Liam Rosenior's men will be challenging opponents, who haven't lost at home since early November.
The Burnley boss said: “I’ve seen bits already from Hull, I was planning on spending the entire day doing the analysis of them. All I’ve seen of them is really organised and playing some good football.
“It’s a team that has not been shown on Sky as much as other teams so I haven’t seen as many games yet, but you can tell from the results that they have turned a corner a little bit.
“The ambition does not change for us though, we want to go there and try and get a result and win the game."

Kompany added: "We know it won't be easy, they are at home where they have a good record and haven't lost there for a while.
"But full focus and the priority is to win on Wednesday and then we’ll make the next game a priority when the game in Hull is done.”
The Clarets have been without Manuel Benson, Jay Rodriguez and Taylor Harwood-Bellis since January through injury and ahead of Hull, Kompany gave an update on the treatment room.
"I think we might have some surprises and some little gifts coming back soon, so hopefully.
“It’s pretty simple, I can say Taylor Harwood-Bellis is going to play a couple of games now with the under-21s.
"It’s been a long time out of the squad for him, so we want his fitness levels to go back up and whether it’s Benny, Jay Rod, all the other guys, they’re all getting close now.
“As well on top of that, I think we’ve been a little bit more fortunate than we thought with the injury of Browny so hopefully after the international week, we’ll have a full squad. That will be great.”
