Manager Vincent Kompany is hoping the 'special' Turf Moor atmosphere will be rocking again on Tuesday night as the Clarets host Birmingham City.
Burnley take on the Blues live on Sky Sports in the Sky Bet Championship and the boss had plenty of praise for the Clarets faithful speaking ahead of the game and a busy Christmas period for his side.
Kompany said: “I want Turf Moor to be different, to feel different and we know we aren’t going to win them all but we have experienced exactly what we have wanted at home.
“It’s a special place for us this season, they stick with us every match and at home it gets electric and we will need it again on Tuesday.
“The lads want to make them proud every week and I think there’s a real connection between the team, the staff, and the fans.
“The support was excellent at United last week, having over 7,000 there on a Wednesday night the week before Christmas, it was amazing.
“On Tuesday we go again against Birmingham, in front of a near full house at Turf Moor and we will need everyone there playing their part.”
The Clarets have three fixtures in the space of seven days over the festive period, after facing Birmingham Kompany's men travel to Stoke City on Friday 30th, with a trip to Swansea City three days later on Monday 2nd.
And Kompany admits he will be utilising his full squad across the busy week and that post-match recovery will be crucial to success.
“It’s a tough and busy period for us, but the players are used to it now. We’ll have to make use of the full squad; everyone will play a part.
“We were able to not rotate the squad massively against United, as we had a bit of a gap until Tuesday’s match.
“But then after this one, we will have to have a look as we have Birmingham, Stoke then Swansea all in the space of a few days.
“We play Stoke on the Friday, then Swansea 48 hours later, so rest and recovery for everyone will be crucial for us over this period.”
