Manager Vincent Kompany had high praise for his side's performance following Saturday's 3-0 victory over Wigan Athletic at Turf Moor.
Nathan Tella's brace and Lyle Foster's first goal in Claret and Blue proved to be the difference between the two sides in an impressive outing for the hosts.
Speaking post-match, Kompany discussed the performance, the pleased satisfaction of creating lots of chances and a mention to Arijanet Muric between the sticks.
Kompany said: "The result was really good, outstanding and the performance I think just as good. We leave Turf Moor with another smile and this place keeps delivering for us.
"We did what we needed to do today and I thought we handled the game really well overall. We could have scored more goals, we have scored lots already this season and we will miss big chances now and again.
"The chances were there, they're being created and it's good to see. The red card influenced the game which can happen and if there are any disappointments it would be the chances we conceded.
"The saves were outstanding from Aro but that’s what you’re there to do as a goalkeeper. Especially I think the way this season has been going for us I think it’s seeing a lot of the ball for us and a lot of the chances for us and we concede very little."
Kompany added: "So these things are crucial. Time and time again I think Aro has been extremely decisive for us in these moments and we’re lucky to have two good goalkeepers of course with Bailey being really good whenever he’s called upon."
Tella's two goals in the win saw the forward move to 16 in all competitions for the season, meanwhile January signing Foster snatched his first goal for the Club with a sweet finish past Ben Amos in the 75th minute.
Following the 23rd win of the Championship season, Kompany applauded the scintillating form of Tella and his joy for Foster getting off the mark becoming the 19th different scorer this season.
The Burnley boss said: “I think it could have been anyone who scored the first goal because we started off so well.
"Nathan’s just got that momentum now where everything he does seems to come off and it’s good for us that he scored a goal but obviously we’re also happy that again we got to share some goals in terms of Lyle Foster coming on and scoring his first goal.
“It was a good goal. A striker’s goal. I'm really happy for him and it just adds to the tally of goal scorers we have in the team and we know he can score goals. It was perfect how it went today and to be able to show some of his talent and I’m sure in the future he’ll do well for us."
