Manager Vincent Kompany admits he is looking forward to returning to Turf Moor action on Wednesday night, as the Clarets entertain the Potters in the Sky Bet Championship.
It's 18 days since Burnley last played at home, after beating Bristol City before the international break, and Kompany is aiming to send the supporters home with a smile on their faces once again.
Kompany on playing back at Turf Moor:
“We’re back in front of our fans, which will be nice, as it has been over two weeks since we were last there.
“I hope we can give them something to look forward to and leave on Wednesday with a smile on their faces.
“That’s all that’s on our mind, putting in a good performance, getting a good result and sending our supporters home happy.”
Kompany on the double game week:
“The lads have recovered well from the weekend and preparation is well underway for the game on Wednesday.
“It’s a busy month for us coming up, starting with this week, with two matches and it is a short turnaround, but we have to just be ready.
“The lads are eager to get back playing at Turf Moor again and are all looking forward to it.”

Kompany on the Clarets support:
“The fans have been terrific ever since I walked through the door here.
“They were down at Cardiff in their numbers once again, backing us throughout, credit to them especially with the travelling disruptions.
“And I know they will pack out Turf Moor once again on Wednesday and we will need their support throughout the night.”
Kompany on what to expect from Stoke:
“We do our homework and point out the threats that Stoke have, but we also know we have enough to also make them worry about things as well.
“They’re a good side, with some dangerous players, so we know we have to be on our game.
“They are also coming into this match off the back of a defeat on the weekend, so will be looking to put things right.
“For us though, if we can make it a vibrant and entertaining night for our fans, then that would be awesome for us.”
