Burnley FC are pleased to announce our home game against Aston Villa on Saturday 7th May will be dedicated to Burnley FC in the Community and will also be showcasing some Junior Clarets activities.
Junior Clarets, the Club’s young fans membership scheme, offers supporters aged 12 and under, a range of benefits including a membership pack, exclusive offers & discounts, access to the Junior Clarets website and much more.
To celebrate Junior Clarets and to make the Aston Villa game a day to remember for young fans, there will be lots of exciting additions to the matchday. In partnership with Burnley FC in the Community, local school children and Junior Clarets competed to design the front cover of Turf the matchday programme, with the winning design selected by the Burnley FC players and printed for the game.
As part of the takeover, two Junior Clarets will be commentators for the match and two will be taking over in the North Stand hospitality lounge, hosting a question-and-answer session with a Club legend.
There will be a Junior Claret making the live stadium announcements and another will be picking the playlist, with the chosen songs played prior to kick-off.

With a whole host of activities to enjoy, the family ticket offer will be rolled out across the stadium, this means juniors can attend the game for just £10, and adults will receive a £10 saving when purchasing two adult tickets.
In addition to the Junior Clarets takeover, Burnley FC in the Community, the Club’s official charity, will also be hosting their Community Day at the fixture.
Highlighting the organisation’s wide-ranging work across the region, the charity will be selling limited edition wristbands and holding a bucket collection at the stadium on the day.
Fans can enjoy a penalty shoot-out competition with the charity’s Player Development Centre teams at half-time and the Clarets match worn shirts will be auctioned after the game.
Community Day aims to raise awareness and secure funds for Burnley FC in the Community, who deliver over 50 projects in and around Burnley, improving the lives of residents and the local community. The charity is encouraging fans to support the cause by bringing change for the bucket collection on the day, or supporters can text ‘UTC’ to 70560 to donate £5.
